Vent to me, tell me what's the worst part about being an artist on the internet. Hard to get notice, the artists that can't draw but are insanely popular, self confidence, comparing yourself of others, not improving enough?
Anything and everything, I want to know. Don't sugar coat it either, cuss and fuss. I really want to see what makes artists angry in today's world, especially on the internet.
I just started writing about it and I want to know more about the matter. I know first hand 90% of it but I also want to hear other stories as well.

Where I've been
*Very long sign* Where do I even begin??
It's been a long few years since I've been really active on DA, or even in art at all. To be completely frank, the online art community completely burned me out and my confidence in my own art was in the shitter, so getting off of all the sites, constantly drawing in hopes of gaining popularity and all that rat race shit was a huge relief. However, I never really got to a place where I felt really comfortable with myself as an artist, or my skills as an artist. Really, I'm just now opening back up to the idea that art can be a real part of my life again, because for a long time I thought that I had no
Old Journal was old
Hey everyone! Just bumping the old journal out of the way since it's unspeakably old. I want to thank everyone that faves or shows any type of support for me and my art. I never always say it but I'm thankful for everything anyone does to support me.
I haven't been drawing as much as you can tell but I'm hoping to come back to my art more since my main focus have been my angel card business. http://www.followyourinnerchild.com/
Whenever I get a chance I'll post something for you all! Thanks for sticking by me! :D

Manual of power for the artist
Dear artists of the world,
Where do I even start? I come online everyday and more likely then not I have to hear yet another person's trails and tribulations about "being an artist". Its either in trying to find a style, trying to stay true to yourself, wanting more criticism, telling people to piss off because of criticism, trying to be popular, wanting to live off by doing what they love, and/or thousand other things.
When the rubber hits the road us artists can agree that being an artist is FUCKING HARD. God forbid if you're on the internet trying to make your way because so many of us is left behind in the dust while a select few makes

I hate when people use my stuff without permission.
And I hate how people single out different styles.
How they only can appreciate on style.
Like Sonic-style artists, who only care bout sonic-styled art, or anime-artists who only care about anime-styled art.
I don't see how it can be so hard to appreciate something of another style.
Also how everything currently mainstream gets rubbed in your face on the front page every day. :/
Also how people care more about people with generic styles rather than the ones with more unique styles.
You rarely see any "unique" anime art on the front page.
(I'm not saying my style's very unique or anything.)
And lots of other stuff.
