In the heat of battle

For Funimation winning 2nd place in The Otaku Battle Royal, the contest I hosted on theOtaku site.

She wanted a picture of us in the middle of battle and boy did this came out more epic then I thought. XD Mostly due to my addiction to effects and lights, but I’m mighty proud of this picture!

A lot of my practice and experimenting I’ve been doing have been treating me well! I have to learn to color more in sai though since Photoshop doesn’t like me blending and CGing in it these days. I am having more fun with coloring in sai and starting to learn more about the brushes so I’m happy.

I guess I should explain a bit about my self in the OBR universe. ‘3’

OBR (Otaku Battle Royal)

As you all know I use a fursona, a raspberry colored fox. Over time though I branched out and made more versions of my fursona so I used that as my power! I have about 5 different fursonas that each has their unique power. Like attack, defense, magic, and etc. I myself don’t turn into my fursona but I can tell them what to do (if they want to listen or not ) Depending on my mental state my fursona(s) can change, evolve, disappear, or I can even gain a new one! I myself don’t have much power on my own (without the help with a fursona) so I usually run, hide, duck, and yell. XD The extent of the power itself is unknown since I haven’t used/seen it in many situations. In this picture though, they are in their dormant mode.

And the darken face is due to the fact I’m very anonymous on the internet (never use personal information/post pictures of myself/etc) so my face is darken when I have my hood up.

The outfit itself is a watered down version of one I actually owe! The hoodie even have the unicorns and rainbows on them. I always feel like a champion in that hoodie its almost like a security blanket to me now so its fitting to wear it in the OBR world.
